CONTAINER ACTIVITIES
With 20 hands-on experience in container operations we can offer a wide range of services to suit our customers’ needs:
- we can lease out containers
- we can also deliver a complete range of freight forwarding services for containerized cargo.
We offer services for different cargo suitable to be carried in dry containers, including small size vehicles, dry foodstuffs, construction materials and etc.

Leasing containers
Leasing containers is a popular option, since most businesses only need containers temporarily. You take on lease our container to be used for your freight transportation by Russian rail and you will return empty container to our agent at the destination station.
It is convenient because you need not to return container to the departure station.
It is economically beneficial because the rate for taking on lease our container is lower than the rates quoted by major container operator at Railway.
Service options
We can guarantee a complete range of freight forwarding service options to suit our customers’ requirements:
- from door- to- destination station – delivery of container for loading by truck, receipt of cargo, cargo shipment by rail to destination station
- from door- to- door – as requested, pick-up of cargo at the shipper’s storage area and delivery to the consignee.

- Container delivery to the railway station and its loading onto the flatcar

We specialize in containerized cargo services to and from China
Thanks to partnership relations with Chinese ports of Dalian, Xiamen, Qingdao, Ningbo, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen we can organize the transportation of freight in our own containers from China to Russia:
- Stuffing goods into our container (using our own agents’ resources)
- Carriage by sea, customs declaration in the port of Vladivostok
- Further shipment by Russian rail
We also offer the following services:
- Lease out containers for different purposes, including for storage
- Container trucking services across Russian Far East
- Container storage at our own container yard within Vladivostok
Container Fleet
TFM GROUP container fleet amounts to more than 1,000 containers of different size:
20 ft, 40ft, 3-ton containers, including high cube containers.
We are the only transport specialist in Russian Far East the container park of which includes 20ft high cube containers (height – 2,689 mm).
Our containers meet the requirement of International Convention for Safe Containers, 1972 and Customs Convention, 1972. They are manufactured and tested under the technical supervision and pursuant to Rules of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Our strongest competitive advantage at market is direct contracts available with divisions of AOA RZD, carriers and owners of rolling stock, OOO Vladivostok Container Terminal.
